from the average rap fan all the time these days. On a mission to change
that is Inglewood, California’s own, EL PREZ, with the release of his highly
anticipated album LEADERSH!T. Brought to you by the good folks at WGGP and
Honour Role Music, EL PREZ has set out to create a manifesto to break the
cycle of lazy, unimaginative rappers and misguided listeners. As told to the
LA Weekly, LEADERSH!T ” [is] talking about breaking the mold — breaking the
cycle. And breaking these stigmas and stereotypes of what people think we
are. And what people think it takes to make it or to be a success in life.”
On the road with The Prezident for this campaign are producers Dae One
(Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock), THX (David banner, Snoop Dogg), FreshChuck and
Polyester for HellagooD (DOM Kennedy), Zaire Koalo (Shawn Chrystopher,
T.I.), Lee Bannon, Javis Faux, and more. The features were kept to a minimum
with appearances from King Mez, Rochelle Jordan, Aleon Craft, Rocky Rivera,
Jack Freeman, Ina Williams, and Chevy Jones. Standouts on the project
include, “Pass It”, “Deeper feat. Rocky Rivera and Ina Williams”, “Steady
